Election Update:

April 4, 2011: Preliminary Election results show Martelly the winner. Final results to be posted April 16.

Election News: March 20 run-off between Manigat and Martelly was held with few problems, compared to the original election. ) The final results are to be announced April 16.

Haiti's election commission said it would announce final first round results of disputed November elections on Feb. 2. The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) said the second round vote would take place on March 20, with the results published April 16. (Jan 30, 2011: AFP)
