Key Haiti Share Strategy

At the heart of our efforts to fulfill our mission is to develop leadership by creating and empowering small teams of young adults who are committed to helping each other to grow spiritually, intellectually and emotionally. We provide team members with a Biblically based written curriculum designed to build character and promote leadership, along with seminars, workshops and other meetings. We also require and support team-led community projects and provide tuition assistance or job training where appropriate.

People

Executive Director:  Dr. Betty Jean Harmsen

Dr. Harmsen has a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, seven referred papers in advanced mathematics and 20 years full-time experience in teaching mathematics, half at the high school level and half at the university level. She has writen curriculum for remedial courses, both at the high school and college levels, over a period of many years.
