Our pipeline for the future

We have 42 neighborhood children enrolled in our Junior Haiti Share Program, ages 9 to 16.

Each Saturday morning the team holds classes in English, computer and Bible for these children.

They also prepare a healthy snack or meal for them each Saturday.

Because the team is sharing the Haiti Share values with these children each week, we believe they will be good candidates for membership in a leadership team when they grow up

Many parents in Haiti manage to pay the school costs for their children in school for the first few months each year, but run out of money before the year is finished. This means the child has to repeat the entire year.

 


Therefore, we have started a sponsorship program to help the parents of the children in our Junior Haiti Share Program with the costs of their child's education, thus ensuring that the child is able to attend elementary school without interruption.

Annual Bible Day Camp

Our leadership team organizes and teaches our annual five day Bible Day Camp. This camp is highly valued by our team members as an expression of their unity as a team, their love for children and their desire to share their faith with them. In 2012, more than 700 children attended this camp.

The 2012 Bible Day Camp was held on August 6 to 10, in Mèrgè, Haiti at the Foundation of Zion, located in a mountainside community about 30 miles west of Port-au-Prince. More than 700 children attended this camp.
